Social Media Business Page-Hair by SC

A requirement for our personal social media plan was to make a business page on Facebook. Ironically, a few days prior, my friend who is a marketing professional created a business page for my hair business. Within 17 days I received 87 likes to my page! I couldn't believe how fast my people started to like my page after I just posted one simple post on my personal page that invited people to like my business page.

I have learned about two very important things since having a business page. One is that you can have paid advertising on your page, yes, any business page. I can only imagine how much it helps to pay for advertisement on your Facebook page. A few students in my class have done so and it has yielded substantial results.

Another thing I have learned since having a business page is that I am able to connect with existing and potential clients in a way I was not able to without the page. I am excited to see what else I can learn from the opportunity of having a FREE business Facebook page.
